Winter’s final yawn
The first buds of spring
Nature’s new beginnings
In place of those long gone
But spring will turn to summer
And summer into fall
From there we go
And go again
One is new and one is gone
Memories of both
Firmly planted like a tree
Winter’s final yawn
The first buds of spring
