Outside my window dawn breaks,
Beautifully lighting the world.
A day of wonder and hope lies ahead,
With the slight feeling of despair in my heart.
Full of weary of how the day might go,
I go through it slowly.. Patiently.
A memory strikes me with great pain.
Thoughts of love and heart ache,
Joys and downfalls..
Overwhelming me in a way
that I can’t explain.
Little by little,
I begin to break down..
Impossible to build back up.
Tears start to fall…
My heart hurts.
I’m now in a place of confusion.
The day soon breaks to night.
Stars spread across the sky..
The moon shines insight of
Another day soon to come.
Now I sleep,
Waiting for dawn to
come again.
