I am more than just a color.
More than just a girl.
More than a Phoenician.
More than a four-point-oh.
I am more than white.
More than a head in class.
More than a dumb blonde.
More than another pretty face.
Take me for me,
As I take you for you.
Not a color, number, race,
Gender, ability, or face.
When can we get past this barrier,
And see people for who they truly are.

Reverse discrimination is still discrimination. I love the poem and I completely agree with everything else.

I honestly think I couldn't agree more. I think that it's truly inspiring that you are able to state your opinion with confidence. Many people cant do that, which is sad. 5 starsss:)

Damn right! What's with people and all these stereotypes?: "Dumb Blond", or that bookworms and brunettes are boring. I know plenty of smart blondes, and I am a brown-haired bookworm with a major temper. Is that an average stereotype? Nice poem
