Star Dust
It’s falling from the sky
 Dancing in the cool night
 Air floating on the breeze
 Whipping through the trees
 Twirling swirling down
 From heaven’s black gate
It falls to bless the heathen
 Below gently falling blanketing
 the ground turning everything white
and trenching it with purity like
tiny sprites they dance and melt
as they fall against my hot face.
