her eyes are a deep blue
quiet as if they hold all the secrets of the past
she hums softly as she sows in our small yet peaceful living room
a loving woman who is filled with knowledge
a woman who has carried me through many years of life
through times of heartbreak, rejection, and fear
she has shaped who I am today and who I am going to be
she is grandma
