Broken Heart Wound

5 years I gave my heart to him for 5 years
And I’m just now realizing it wouldn’t work
My friends and family tried to tell me
But I didn’t listen
I thought it just had to be true love
But it wasn’t
And now I sit with tear running down my face
Hurting from the inside out
No one can help me
No one can stand me
No one knows the pain I feel
From a broken heart wound
