I'm Not Like Other Girls My Age.
I’m not like other girls my age.
I have an opinion about everything, and I’m not afraid to share it with you.
I overanalyze and over think just about everything, too.
I give meaning to the meaningless, and hope to the hopeless.

I’m not like other girls my age.
 I don’t believe in love.
 I don’t believe in god.
I rely solely on myself to get me through the life I have.

I’m not like other girls my age.
I’ve been beaten and bruised and I’m still standing.
 I refuse to fall.
I been through more, I’ve been through less, than other girls my age.
 But, I’m still standing.

I’m not like other girls my age.
I’ve always known who I am, and what I deserve.
I refuse to settle for anything and anybody less than I deserve.

I’m not like other girls my age.
 I’m not naïve.
 I’m not clueless.
I don’t agree with society, or the restrictions they place upon me.
 I understand consequences.
 No, I’m not naïve.

I’m not like other girls my age.
And I’m perfectly okay with that.

As well you should be! By the way I thought I'd share - an old woman looked at me when I was a baby and said I was "so knowing". It's kind of funny, but related so I threw it in!
Great writing, keep it up!
