My prayer came true.
All wrong, all bad, but
what can I say?
He's got plenty to do.
He listened, so
I know
He'll help me through.
I write Him letters, and
He speaks to me
through her words and
his words and those
words that hurt and healed;
He has my trust.
I converse with Him and
say goodbye with a
'Love always' and
sometimes a smile
in hopes that I'll
be looked down upon and
heard and felt
for a while.
My prayer came true.
All wrong, all bad, but
He listened and said
'I'm with you.'
