I want to be your Sodom and Gomorrah
your Mary Magdalene and your Holy Mother of God.
Your cup of sin and coffee pot of absolution.
I want to be your inspiration
your muse and biggest critic
Your source of hope and fear.
I want to be your everything
your whole life and then nothing.
Your means of death but reason to live.
I want to be you, all of these things
Because that is who you are to me.
