Not a Robot, Not a Slave

Bearing down
upon steel feet
stretching out
resisting heat
from a churning
burning fleet
dashing fast
before it meets
my softened will
resists deceit
dropping heavy
in thick sheets
whilst shrinking
from defeat
Iron will
won't conquer me.
