The Summer That Changed Me
It happened so soon
That’s why perhaps they found it hard to believe
This strong chemistry developing between you and me
We’d walk underneath the sun light
Hand in hand
Faces beaming our way
Toes dangling off the side of the pool
I remember the smell of your fresh hair
Your pretty smile
The colour of your eyes and how it changed when the sun was shining directly at it.
The firm touch of your soft hand
Your sweet kiss on my red lips that was hard to resist
But above all
I miss our conversations
Sitting up at night watching the stars
Thinking our life was beginning at last
Then they had to take you away
Tears fell down my face
It was impossible to forget you
And it still is
You were my first true love and my only
I’ll never forget you so I’m begging you not to forget me.

You were so descriptive, good job!
ever felt like you were becoming really close to someone and suddenly you had that one good reason to live?
But there's always something or someone that destroys it right?
