My hatred for Change
I seem to have a hatred for change,
For I used to love when you held my hand,
The warmth of your fingers wrapped in mine.
But now I can only feel the coldness of your heart,
Each and every time I pass you in the hall.
My hatred for change.
I used to love your kisses, both soft and aggressive,
Locking your lips with mine, locking your love with mine.
Now, my lips remain dry and rough
While your lips stay busy with your new girl.
My hatred for change.
My favorite feeling was when you whispered in my ear,
Telling me you loved me and that we are forever.
I know you no longer love me,
Nobody loves me now.
My hatred for change.
I enjoyed our evenings spent at the movies,
Or even the bowling alley, as long as we were together.
But now my nights are spent alone,
Yours on the other hand- probably are eventful.
My hatred for change.
See, I do have a hatred for change.
