Spirit, the thing with hooves.

Spirit is the thing with hooves
it races in your heart
it neighs at fear in the eye
and never stops period
and fearless
in the mustang is seen
and freighted must be fear
that could threaten the wild
that kept so many safe
I've heard it in the hottest of suns
and I've found it
in the craziest of dreams
and always besides a friend
has spirit asked of
Me.
