If you knew this obnoxious, sweet person
Maybe you would understand better
If you saw the way he looked at me
Maybe you would understand better
If you could feel the warmth of his hug
Maybe you would understand better
If you could share laughter with him over something pointless
Maybe you would understand better
If you noticed how much he means to me
Maybe you would understand better
If you realized how much I enjoy being around him
Maybe you would understand better
If you got shivers whenever he said "I love you"
Maybe you would understand better
If you were more of a friend to me
But you won't understand
You will never understand
You can't understand
Until you understand me..
