Jesse McCartney
I reach my hands out,
and I can almost grasp your fingers in mine,
but not quite.
The heartbreak in our voices is undisguisable,
yet we laugh like we don't hear it,
pretending as if we're sitting here,
together,
not three thousand miles apart.
I love you-
do you know that?
We'll always be close,
even if the distance is too far for our hands to reach;
too big a gap to close with that fragile tape; and we'll always be dancing crazily to Jesse McCartney in
my head.
