Daydream
Imagining, believe, wishing, hope.
Imagine drifting on a boat, seeing the hungry seagulls swooping down to fetch a meal.
Nothing but cool breeze brushes against my warm body.
To believe so much that it almost seems like the sun dancing on my face.
You can almost feel the waves rocking me side to side.
“Once awake to now be in a daydream.”
Slam! “Do your work!”
