"Nah. You didn’t fall to your death. I jumped after you with a parachute." August 24th

Do not stand at my step and weep,
I am not there, I did not keep.
I am the traveling wind that goes,
I am the straight shot arrows.
I am the sunset painted sky,
I am the loosened necktie.
I am the sweeping silence of night,
I am the graceless jag of fright
Of lightning strikes illuminating the shadow,
I am the resonating notes of cello.
I am in the pouring rain,
I am the dancing weather vane.
I am the long gone traveler,
I am forever better.
Do not stand at my step and cry.
I am not there. I will not reply.

This is done in the style of "Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep" by Mary Elizabeth Frye. It's one of my favorite poems.
