What if today is as good
As I will ever receive?
If this is the exact mood,
Where I will not be deceived?
Would I instantly regret,
What had occurred?
Would I want to forget?
Or would I want it mirrored?
If from the stars above,
I am not satisfied,
What is there to love?
If I am not mollified?
When I recollect,
Is this my satisfactory appearance?
And when I reflect,
I don’t want just a glance.
I want to stare,
At the life I create
I want to care,
And not just graduate.
If today is my best,
Then everything is uphill
It will not be my last
I have my will.

thanks. my life is full of so many different experiences that bring up a variety of emotions. i guess that's why my poems are all different!

i have read all of your poems and stories and you have never failed to disappoint. there is such variety, it's like 10 different people are writing all these poems, but its just you! looove it!
