Fall into Open Sky
Fall into open sky,
But I can’t fly with broken wings
They’re small sad and crumpled things,
These broken wings
But; those who push others
From high up places, just to watch them fall
Are weak pathetic things
Weaker than these broken wings,
That take away my flight.
So these weak pathetic people
Crushed my wings to make me feel as they did
And hurled me off the edge,
And though they stole my ability to fly
They have not, my will to fly,
For these broken wings,
Like most broken things
Will heal in no time at all.
