Oh beautiful dream of a day,
you surround me in cool, moist, springtime
of growing things.
I lie pensively in comfort,
and listen to your sounds.
The dove, her croon,
a sweet memory tapping into pure nostalgia.
And so I will slowly rise,
and shake the sleep which clings to me,
and live out a beautiful dream of a day,
within the near presence of my maker.
