The keepers of light hide away
Though against their nature
In the brightest gleam and eye of the sun
They give off warmth
And radiate life
They are the beginning and the end
They bring about life, and take it away
Beauty is their second nature
Energy is their thoughts
Gliding over the ocean
Soaring over land
They are the eye of storms
The oasis in a desert
The softness of a cool crisp breeze
The smell of baking bread
The fluff and puff of a cloud
The stillness of snow
Keeping light, peace, and
beauty.
