Depth
My heart stops beating,
I don’t know what to do.
Baby, I’m lost;
I’m nothing without you.
I miss your smile,
Your perfect, tender lips.
Your breathing on my throat,
Your hands on my hips.
Through everything, we went,
We conquered it all.
You held my hand when I stumbled;
Picked me up when I would fall.
I gave you my everything,
Nothing less that that.
Nobody will make me happy;
You were my first and last love.
Baby, I’m grieving,
For you lonely heart desires.
Our love was real,
As real as they seem.
It pains me to wake up,
And know it was a dream.
You cheated, you lied,
You put me last.
You’ve come crawling back,
I moved on from the past.
You taught me lessons,
On trust and love.
You were an angel to me,
Sent from above.
Nobody compares to the feelings you gave me,
But they were what I thought you felt too.
When I find someone better,
I’ll still think of you.
Always.
