They pull me out of bed
But all I can do,
Is think and hold on to the words
That are now coming out
That were so reluctant to
Just moments before.
Lines are in my head like a sea urchin.
It pricks,
But they stick out
In all forms and directions
From one which is hidden
By the darkness of their meaning.

The author's comments:
It's hard to find time when time is expected for other. Especially hard when those others are inexcusably unnecessary, but deemed inexcusable under the illusion of necessity. This is a moment of wanting time to write, a lost treasure, lost in numbers, and doctrines.
