I promised you a story
and its a story ill be telling

Ive been thinking of memories
way back in my mind
Ive been dwelling on tears
but its smiles I do find
for nights Ive lied wide awake
taking on all my miserable mistakes
words Ive regretted
and good dicisions Ive spared
True happieness is so rare
I sneak glimpses of our world
when really I should stare
I look around but I have misplaced my soul
But Ill get to that part
just listen as I start
Lets go to the beginning
when it all fell apart
