One Second
I am everywhere
Hoping for a glimpse of you somewhere- anywhere.
I know that my chances are small but I can’t help but try;
Spending hours at strange places for a second of your face
Because a second is all I need
To know if the sight of you still makes me forget how to breathe;
If your laugh still crinkles my nose and wrinkles my eyes.
But each time I look for you is another time wasted
Another time just as each does
Make me need the moment more.
