Red Versus Blue
Red versus Blue
 Each with a different view
This long battle is nothing new
 A situation split in two

 To break into a war
Was an idea that one tore
 And the other closely bore
As a soon to be opened door

 Red viewed death as deserved
 If one even somewhat swerved
Into the wrong of a life curved
With crime that left another interred

 Blue viewed this as blasphemy
A believer in true justice was he
 That one would eventually see
The wrong done and live free

 Red killed more and more
 Those who no consequence bore
None used his method ever before
Blue knew not what was in store

 Blue searched and investigated
 Murders seen not as fated
 Hints by the culprit stated
By Red he was merely being baited

When it seemed like neither would slip
A very strange but useful tip
To Blue did cause the situation to flip
And for once the favor was in his grip

But Red knew more and was prepared
And his mistake was quickly repaired
Of being caught he was not scared
He would win the battle they shared

Blue was calm yet taken aback
How could one with a heart so black
 Manage even another attack
With Blue's intense knowledge in lack

Red had one last surprise planned
 One that would surely land
His enemy Blue in his hand
Both of them to fight in one last stand

The fight was one of equal fate
No predetermined end upon life's slate
Both hearts did carry the weight
Of an attempt to set the other straight

Until Red caused the tables to turn
Blue saw the cheat, revealed a slight concern
That from this he would never return
 And victory Red would earn

 Blue's last words were this:
"I may not be one that you will miss
After I fall into death's dark abyss
But I hope you someday feel bliss

And realize that you need not kill
Even though you have a great skill
Or if it gives you greater thrill
 Because it can never fulfill

 You or any other inside
 Just because these criminals died
Maybe it gives you an ounce of pride
But I hope these feelings will not reside

And at any other time or place
At the sight of each others' face
We would grin and quickly embrace
And with friendship the rivalry would replace."

These words for now on Red were lost
He looked down at Blue with heavy exhaust
The weapon he used then was tossed
Red was glad their paths had crossed

Then it was over and done
Red smirked, knowing he had won
Blue on the ground beside a gun
Red then said "Its been fun."
