The Lullaby

It is said good things always come to an end
But the best things never die
I have noticed no matter what happens
There will always be a lullaby
Simple choices can change a life
As did for you and me;
The silent promise was to not forget
Just live and wait then see
Even when the worst happens
Even when the promise is gone
Throughout the history of it all
There will always be the song
Words can't express the lyrics
But we are here now
Kepping the hopes hidden
And we sing the silent lullaby

I agree with Boosflash that it was uplifting and enchanting. It brought a smile to my face as I read it. I remember how lullabies always made me feel better in the lonely or bad times. I luved it!!! The best poem I've ever read. Keep it up little sis!!:D
