I walk through these empty hallways
Thinking about all the secrets and lies
Everything that has happened in these 3 years
Memories are in almost every room.
Teachers taking art down
Students cleaning out their lockers
I won’t admit it but. I don’t want to leave.
I am scared to leave.
I want to. But I’m scared

I’ll miss chatting with these teachers and those.
Being teased by administration
Being so close to everybody
Even chorus class,
Don’t want to leave the feeling of home.

I walk through these empty hallways.
Thinking about the friendship and love
Everything that has happened in these 3 years
Memories in almost every room
Imagining my friends art
Messy lockers
I don’t want to leave. But I have to.
I am scared. But I am ready.
I don’t want to. But I will.

I wrote this while walking around my empty school at the almost end of the year.
