The Road That Brought Us Together

We're close, it seems
too close, some would say.
The music meets our bodies
and we don't care, we don't know
what's to come when we leave.
The white lines staring at eachother
over a blanket of black concrete.
They will never meet,
and I can't imagine what it would be like if we never had.
