Never Existed
Sometimes
when you appear in my mind
I feel like you are almost made up
 that you never existed.
 Bu then it hits me.

The memories of our time together
 flood my brain.
And images of you are flashing everywhere.
But while I would love for the good memories to contuine to flow through me
 they stop.
Because at that point you got sick.
And now memories of you in hospital beds
all tangled up in tubs going through you
take place of the happy memories.

Then my final memory is with you
laying there in a bed at Hospice
 dead.
So one again I will shed another tear
 from my broken heart
that is filled with memories of your existence.
