And the Dragon
Her spider legs slip out from
 Under the covers.
 Wielding her straighter sword.
 Pull on her short-short armor,
 Tank top chain mail
Oblivious to the dragon that watches.
Doesn’t se the stares as she walks
 The rhythm of every step
 Contained in her flip-flop drum.
 Flip
 Flop.
 And she marches off
 A lamb to the slaughter
One foot in front of another.
