Favorite Quote:
When life gives you lemons, throw them back and tell life to make its own lemonade.
When life gives you melons, you know something is wrong

"I write to create
In the world’s massive novel
A page of my own"

-By Emily M., NW Washington, DC

Slate gray waves, thudding heavily upon the shore at day break
Appalachian hills flourishing with creatures and fauna
Foggy weather, after a short and sudden episode of rain
Green, glowing light, coming through towering forest trees
Many weathered buoys signaling trapped lobsters, held captive in the salty depths
Flurries of bright, fiery leaves, being trampled underfoot and flying freely through the open air
Rich, creamy clam chowder, after a wet day in the snow
Gently falling snowflakes, on a peaceful winter night
Scouting students on the Freedom trail, eager to see Paul Revere’s historical house
Camping sites with funny names, and many fire pits full of blackened charcoal
A meandering stream, surrounded by loam, fallen branches, and thickly settled moss
