if we could just stop for a minute
stop seeing race, religion, origin
we might actually make a difference
if we could just stop and see everyone as...
see everyone as people
wouldn't you notice something new
you might notice someone's personality
or someone's beautiful smile
or maybe even someone's name
if you stop and think for just a minute
what effects your actions have on kids
how war not only effects families here
but the families of the people your fighting
have you ever stopped to think
that maybe, just maybe
we're all going to heaven
no matter what our religion
what our race
or what our origin is
if we could see each other as people
we might notice that everyone is the same
we all have wants, fears, dreams, hopes
if everyone could just stop for a minute
and care about someone other then themselves

we just might change the world

well i say you have a wonderful talent...i dont think any poet knows how great their work would turn out...i wish everyone would just take a moment and see the world around them you know

I was reading a book about a girl who was being treated cruelly because she was a mexican in an almost all white high school. it just hit me really hard and inspired me to write this. i never knew i would come up with this

This right here is my all time fav...its so deep and so true...i wrote something like this a few years ago but wow it was not this great...where do you find the words to evoke so many emotions? what inspires you?
