Her Notebook

It was just a regular plain black, college ruled, 1 subject notebook.
But it was beautiful all the same.
It was tattered and torn,
Worn out and frayed around the edges,
The spiraled binding bent with pages falling out
It was filled with many wonderful things,
But the blank pages were her future.
