Almost silent, barely heard
Pale yellow door creaks open
From the push of a ghostly hand
As you creep closer
The whispers get louder
Slipping into the hall
They become a piercing scream
Eyes adjust to the light
Cold stone walls
Form a narrow hallway into darkness
Quick gust of freezing wind
Runs through the hall
Your heavy footfalls
Echo through the windowless hallway
A hard contrast
To the eerie silence
SLAM!
The door slams behind you
Shutting you into complete black
Cold, clammy hands
Grab you from behind
Pulling you headlong
Into the coming darkness
Faint, surrounded by black
All the while the ghostly guards
Lead you further
Into the night
