Irony
I set the margins of my life too low
 Everything is scripted
 Every moment
 Every emotion
 But every second
 Falls flat
 On its face
And I’m looking at the font
 Upside down
So it doesn’t look like times new roman anymore
 Its more like apple symbol
 Unreadable
 Difficult
 Impossible

Like I thought I had the stage set perfectly
 Rooftop romance
Too fast for us to grasp
 Slow down
 Panting
 Begging
 Pleading
 But then
 We just sit
 And we ponder
 The mundane details
 Of our lives

The greater picture looks so grand
But we get caught up in the details
 Every letter
 Every sentence
 Every mark of punctuation
 Picture perfect
 Yet utterly
 unecessary
