intangible woman
wishing for hurricane rains like the desert sands,
Who would wish for their star to fall only to wish upon its death?
Were kept apart by unspoken words; the soft being within a hardened shell would best reflect this odd paradox.
How I yearn to have known you, we are close like a giggle and a laugh, but I would rather hold you tight like the horizon to the sky.
I would follow you as an answer to a question; your footsteps fill my mind with expectation and illustrious emotions.
How those words, however vile, sound as beautiful as the blowing breeze of summer’s kiss, as they roll off your gentle lips.
An ode to whom I cannot have, a role played by a better man.
Though I dream how I can find myself within this riddle, left peering over seven seas at whom I could not have my beating heart throbbing on your dinner plate.
