Favorite Quote:
never regret anything that once made you smile.

Desolation’s foggy mist churns;
shrouding her true heart;
taking her breath;
fading clear thought.

Trivial events, words that shouldn’t matter;
tiny pinpricks bring the most blood.
Betraying her, the thudding heart sides with repressed dreams.
Unbolting the locks for the nightmares to smother exposure.

Wishing for long-gone murky memories
Wanting impossible fairytales.
Pleading to fluttering shadows for uncertain desires;
Falling over self-made vulnerability.

Chaining her to the stale heartbreak of forgotten moments
the traitor darkens the night of falling stars.
She tries to fight the enveloping stifle of grasping departed dreams;
but the sky continues to fall.
