What is self conciousness?
Why does everyone feel it?
Is it important that we do?
Well no more, I say!
If all we do is care
About what other people think
Than nowhere's where we'll get to
It's done, no connected link
We can't just sit and wait to be judged
We've got to try our luck
we've got to use our strenght and poise
And then we won't get stuck
If love is all we need
Than why is there more to life
And why are those who strive to cut
With a silver knife
We can't let judgement bring us down
It won't get in the way
We can't let those who bring a frown
Hurt us everyday
we'll prove we're strong
We'll prove we're great
It will not take us long
For we control our fate
So don't let those who hate you much
Get into the way
Don't let those with a poison touch
Stop you and leave you astray
