Fire and evil surrounding
You

The devil stares you in the
Eyes

You jump back from the
Fire in his eyes

Sharp long horns on his
Head

Fear rushes through your
Body

He looks at you with a
Grin

He feeds off your
Fear

But just when things can’t get
Better

You finally wake up from your
Nightmare

The author's comments:
I wrote this poem on September 15, 2010. I had a really bad dream about the devil and how he scares me. I thought about my dream for a long while. I thought about if that’s what the devil looked like. Is that what my future looked like? I hope you enjoy this poem. Remember, you make your life what you want to make out of it. Please comment.
