The Cold Autumn Wind Blows

The Cold Autumn Wind blows.
Beneath my feet.
The sky is clear.
There's something in the shadows.
I wonder what it is.
h my it's a deer,
Shall I run? Or shall I watch?
I'll let nature decide for me.
I hear leaves crunching,
I smell fresh water.
I turn around and see a bear.
The bear sees the deer,
but the deer does not see the bear.
Shall I alert the deer?
Or shall I let nature take its course?
The bear attacks.
I run.
