A heart with love to spare
Shattered in the blink of an eye.
Stitched together with another's love
Only to be shattered again.
The cycle continues
Stopping only with God's grace.
Soon enough nothing is left.
No love stitch could fix this.
The pain of another shattered heart.
Tears of blood ooze from what used to be.
The seams cry out
Desperately hoping to be fixed
As the heart is shattered
one.
