Shadows
I was dancing as the sun was going down.
Then a full moon came up as I was singing to the top of my lungs.
The streetlights began to shine their light.
I saw the shadows on the street.
Everything stretched like taffy.
I was so tall in the shadows.
What if everything was that tall?
We could have extra stretched limos and extra stretched trees, extra stretched ice cream and extra stretched cotton candy.
Everything would look so different.
So funny, as I started to laugh.
Nothing would be the same.
I went inside, up to my room.
I shut off the light and happily went to bed.
