Say Yes
I feel like I should be saying "don't say yes"
But I have always been more of a Rachel than a Monica

I have seen you with her
I have seen you with me
And I want to be selfish
And I want to rip that bitch's Vail right off of her bleach blonde hair
And I want to tell you that you belong with me

But today I will not be selfish
 Today is not for me
I have seen you with her
And as I wright these words
 My insides churn
 My body burns
But you are better with her
 Than with me

 I love you too much
 I want you too bad
And I secretly pray that you will see me not next to your bride
And care about me more than you care about her
And you will rush to my side
 As I cry

 But I care too much
 I want you too bad
My level of love molds my conscious

So as I sit in this pew
Waiting for the guests to arrive
I am leaving you with this:

Today I will not be selfish
Today I will go to the airport and miss the wedding bells
Today I will not witness the "I do's"
Today, for your best friend, I pray you

 Say yes.
