But We Are Still Alive
Ghettoized the daisies call to me
Seven times cursed and seven times sealed
There was no one left
They turned my dreams to dust
Shot in concentration
Suffocation in a gas chamber
Unknown body pulled from an oven
This crouching beast over Germany
The silence of 3 million dead
Pale as a corpse
Emaciated and stifling
Here they are
Looking for you and me
They weren’t the human race
The bodies they were burning
Her child thrown into the fire
Ten thousand in that grave
Unworthy of life
But we are still alive
