A Lovely Song

Laying in my cozy bed.
Dreams of you fill my head.
Sleeping all the bad away.
Waiting for a brand day.
As the night tugs along.
I sing myself a little song.
Where the grass is always green.
And the boys aren't that mean.
Love and romance is all there is.
Happiness is what they give.
How I wish to be his lover.
But my heart trapped with another.
I'm in love with a boy.
Who always fills me with joy.
Curse this confusion and heartache caused.
Nightmares wake me at the crack of dawn.
