Music is more than just a hobby.
It is my passion; my desire.
Nothing brings more joy to me
than the mellow tone of a trumpet;
my fingers pressing its shiny valves.
Or the sweet melody of a piano;
my hands sweeping over its ivory keys.
I like to lose myself in my music;
where my worries are forgotten,
and my fears are left behind.
Of course, they eventually come back,
and are remembered once again.
But for those precious few minutes,
all that is on my mind is music.
And for those few short minutes,
my mind is totally at peace.
