when i weep

When the times have got me down
You give me something to believe
When I feel in pain I drown
You’d kill yourself so I could breathe
When I lay awake at night
You lay there with me ‘til I rest
When I hide from the dark in fright
You hold me close to the warmth in your chest
At times I wonder what we’ll be
Thinking of the future’s plans
I only hope that you and me
Will be forever hand in hand
And when I dream a horrible dream
I hope you’ll ignore it and stay asleep
For I don’t want you to hear me scream
Only comfort me when I weep

I started out full of predjudices when I began reading this. But I must say I was impresed. It has poetic quality that some of my own tend to lack.
