jumble jumble
mix and match
the flame climbs up the string
closer and closer
but it's okay
the other end is damp
so the fire will sputter and die
before it reaches me
tied to this kitchen chair
the others are confused
they can't tell why I'm laughing
and I can hear the violin thrown into the fire too
it snaps
and cracks
and screams
is this sanity
or insanity
if I just spend all my time thinking about
not thinking about you
