When I'm Alone
When I'm alone
 the colors pop
 and lines curve unnaturally,
 creating a new atmosphere
 where I am not me.
 I fly, I soar,
 slicing the clouds.
My fingers pluck at an acoustic guitar,
 stringing together notes and chords
 that would never have met.
 I jump and dodge,
 swing and hit,
 the hero.
 The master.
 The creator.
 The writer.
